Health Schemes

The usual requirements for such schemes include evolving the site access strategy, the car parking strategy and the internal scheme layout. The separation of ‘blue light’ from general site access is of particular importance within the site access strategy. The car parking provision on such sites is also a major issue, especially the conflict between staff and visitor parking provision.

Any planning application for such schemes is usually accompanied by a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan. We emphasise sustainable connections to these sites and the important role of the Travel Plan in encouraging the use of sustainable modes of transport for staff access to the site.
