Emma has been working in Transport Planning since April 2024, having entered the industry and commenced her consultancy career as a graduate at Prime (Transport Planning). In the months since, Emma has been involved in projects from numerous sectors of the development industry such as residential, education, industrial and sustainable energy.
Emma’s day-to-day role includes preparing scoping reports, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and input to EIA chapters. She has further explored active travel and vehicular access options for sites, developed parking strategies and organised and analysed traffic surveys. Emma is proficient in producing GIS-based accessibility analysis plans, utilising the TRACC software to determine nationally recognised distances from a site and the time taken to reach local amenities.
Through her desire to expand her technical expertise, Emma is keen to take on projects, using advice and her own initiative to complete tasks to a high standard.
In her free time, Emma volunteers for Girlguiding, representing the organisation as a Leader for a group of young people aged 14-18 years old, and loves to bake and read Penguin’s collection of classic fiction. Emma grew up sitting on hay bales surrounded by cows and chickens!
