Carrick began his career in transport planning in 2024 after graduating in civil engineering from Liverpool John Moore’s University, where he built a foundation in project management, highway infrastructure and computer aided design.
His current role involves assisting colleagues in preparing access appraisals for potential developments, transport statements/assessments for residential, commercial and energy developments, and construction traffic management plans for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
As a graduate he is keen to learn and develop in the profession, his desire to improve means he is always eager to learn new skills and accept tasks of increasing responsibility.
Outside of work Carrick enjoys playing Gaelic sports, bouldering, and a bit of DIY around the house.
